Every Soldier, civilian, contractor and family member stationed in Korea represents the United States. Treat our Korean friends as you would want to be treated. Korea is an ancient nation with a rich 5,000-year history. The people of the Republic of Korea have developed this nation into a vibrant economy that competes in the international arena with the 15th largest Gross Domestic Product in the world, and the largest ship building facility found anywhere.
  • Pet Fest 2012

    Dog lovers here gathered f0r Pet Fest 2012 on May 5 at the Humphreys Veterinary Clinic. The event featured the paws walk, a pet show, face painting, an agility course, pet photos, informational booths, a military working dog demonstration, and an awards ceremony.
  • Pyeongtaek Cultural Tour

    Camp Humphreys community members make traditional Korean crafts during a recent cultural tour sponsored by Pyeongtaek City. The city partners with the Garrison Public Affairs Office to offer these trips throughout the year.
  • Taking the plunge!

    More than 200 brave participants got a four-month jump on summer by taking part in the garrison’s annual Polar Bear Plunge, here, Feb. 18. In spite of the 18 degree weather and icy cold water, Soldiers, family members, and civilians waded into the pool and shivered their way to the other side.

  • 304th Soldiers raise money for 9-11 victims

    Soldiers from Company A, 304th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, conducted a 48-hour “9-11 Memorial Ruck March,” to raise funds for the New York Fire Fighter, Police Officer and Widows Association, located in New York. Members of the Camp Humphreys community joined in the effort, including members of the Camp Humphreys Fire Department and the Girl Scouts. Pictured are Sgt.   • Groundbreaking for schools

    A groundbreaking ceremony was held, Sept. 2, 2011, in Pyeongtaek, marking the beginning of construction for elementary and high schools for Camp Humphreys. The schools will serve approximately 1,700 students, beginning in June 2013. This $85 million project is being funded by South Korea as part of its commitment to the Yongsan Relocation Plan.
