Gen. David M. Rodriguez, commanding general, U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort Bragg, N.C. Rodriguez is the 19th commander of United States Army FORSCOM. As the commander of the Army's largest organization, he is responsible for manning, equipping, and training 265,000 active component Soldiers, and training and readiness oversight of 560,000 Soldiers of the Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve. A native of West Chester, Pennsylvania, General Rodriguez earned his commission from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1976.

MISSION

Mission Statement:
FORSCOM prepares conventional forces to provide a sustained flow of trained and ready land power to Combatant Commanders in defense of the Nation at home and abroad.

Vision Statement:
For the Army of 2020, FORSCOM provides enhanced land power gaining operational depth and versatility through a mix of fully integrated Active and Reserve Component forces operating in a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational environment.
