PACIS 020-13 students and Public Affairs Leadership Department faculty visited the U.S. State Department's Foreign Press Center in Washington, D.C., Thursday. The visit provided an opportunity for the international students to engage in a productive dialogue with international journalists accredited to the U.S. Department of State. Topics discussed included how to establish productive media relations, the importance of providing accurate information, and meeting media deadlines. Eleven instructors pose for a class photo just before graduating Wednesday, Feb. 6, from the 15-day Instructor Training Course at the Defense Information School (DINFOS) at Fort George G. Meade, Md. Class 030-13 consisted of seven student-instructors from DINFOS training departments and four from outside agencies to include Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the Medical Logistics Management Command, and First Army Division East Public Affairs.
