Red Cloud Garrison Information

USAG-Red Cloud is located in the city of Uijeongbu; approximately 25 miles north of Seoul, and is the "tip of the spear" for forwardly deployed Soldiers serving on the Korean DMZ.  We are responsible for base operations at U.S. Army Garrison-Casey, Camps Hovey, Mobile, Castle, and Rodriguez Range in the north; and U.S. Army Garrison-Red Cloud and Camps Stanley and Jackson in the south.

We enjoy the benefits of a small camp, while still being within commuting distance of Seoul, the world’s 10th-largest city.

Seoul’s past and present coexist in a fascinating way. Centuries-old palaces, city gates, shrines, gardens and priceless art collections attest to the city’s illustrious past, while the glistening facades of soaring skyscrapers and bustling traffic represents its vibrant present.

Whether you wish to enjoy our golf courses; indoor and outdoor pools; arts and crafts centers; movie theaters; bowling alleys; USO centers; or 2nd Infantry Division museum, USAG-Red Cloud has a variety of attractions and services to meet your needs.  The local community also provides a variety of fun-filled activities.

In August 2010, we opened a Kindergarten through 8th grade school at USAG-Casey.

We are committed to serving our Soldiers, Civilians, Contractors, and Family members.  Our mission is to support you!  We enjoy this fulfilling charge and hope to make your stay here a positive, rewarding experience for you and your Family.

Once again, welcome to the U.S. Army Garrison-Red Cloud area.  I look forward to having you on our team.
