Nurses play an important role in Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) risk reduction. This page contains resources to help the Safe to Sleep campaign's nurse partners inform their constituents about the Continuing Education (CE) Program on SIDS Risk Reduction: Curriculum for Nurses, developed by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The NICHD encourages partners to:
- Post an announcement or Web button on their Web site
- Publish the matte article in their print or e-newsletters
- Distribute flyers and postcards at nursing events
Please visit the Dissemination Resources section of this site for more information. We hope that your organization will use these resources to make nurses aware of this important, potentially life-saving program.
