This program announcement emphasizes the need for research addressing the health care needs of veterans returning from Afghanistan (OEF-Operation Enduring Freedom) and Iraq (OIF-Operation Iraqi Freedom).

[+] THROUGH 2012 Program Announcement: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) (1 MB, PDF) The purpose of this program announcement is to stimulate research in the area of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Due to ongoing conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq, TBI accounts for a significant portion of combat casualites.
