NAVPERSCOM Administrative Manual (ADMINMAN)

This manual, Navy Personnel Command (NAVPERSCOM) Administrative Manual (ADMINMAN) M-5000.1, is issued to provide direction and guidance, and contains policy, rules, and practices for the administration of military and civilian personnel assigned to Bureau of Naval Personnel Millington (BUPERS Millington) and NAVPERSCOM.  Changes shall be effective upon the date specified on individual articles published on the NAVPERSCOM Web site.

All internal instructions (existing or proposed) which contain information of general interest to the activities within BUPERS Millington and NAVPERSCOM, and which are not already in manual format, should be considered for incorporation into the ADMINMAN.  Other information of permanent general applicability may be considered for incorporation.  Originators desiring to make changes to the ADMINMAN should contact NAVPERSCOM, Directives and Records Management Branch (PERS-532), an or refer to ADMINMAN 5000-010 for guidance.

Managers and supervisors shall ensure this manual is a readily accessible reference for all employees, and that new employees are made aware of its contents as soon as practicable upon reporting onboard.

Officials having responsibility over material contained in this manual shall continually assess the impact of changes in organizational alignment, policies, procedures, etc., as such changes occur to ensure necessary revisions are promptly submitted to articles under their responsibility.
