The Evaluation Center houses the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Evaluation program, supporting the development of evaluation scholars and practitioners with practical experience and deep knowledge of evaluation theory, methodology, and practice as well as superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The Evaluation Café features the brightest minds in evaluation, as part of a weekly series presented throughout the academic year. Evaluation Checklists
To improve the quality and consistency of evaluations and enhance evaluation capacity, we promote the use of high-quality checklists targeted to specific evaluation tasks and approaches. The checklist site provides evaluation specialists and users with refereed checklists for designing, budgeting, contracting, staffing, managing, and assessing evaluations of programs, personnel, students, and other evaluands; collecting, analyzing, and reporting evaluation information; and determining merit, worth, and significance. Special Issue: Evidence-Based Practice in Behavioral Health (Working Title)
Guest Editors: Daniela Schroeter, Stephen Magura, Chris Coryn, Jason Burkhardt, and Stephanie MeansThis special issue of Evaluation and Program Planning will explore issues related to the evaluation of evidence-based program practice in behavioral health fields. The editors welcome both theoretical and empirically-based papers that focuses on topics including the process by which programs are certified to be evidence based, the ways in which evidence for interventions or modalities may accumulate across media, current state of the art in the process of research on evidence based practice, and the ways in which evidence based modalities or interventions are made available to the public.
