The 3rd USA Science & Engineering Festival, the largest science festival in the United States, features nationwide contests and school programs during the 2013/2014 school year, including our popular 'Nifty Fifty' science speaker program. The Festival culminates in a 2-day Grand Finale Expo on April 26-27, 2014 at the Convention Center in Washington, D.C., with Sneak Peek Friday being held on April 25. New this year: X-STEM - an Extreme STEM Symposium for middle and high school students on April 24, 2014.

The USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo will be held April 26-27, 2014 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, and will give over 750 STEM organizations from all over the United States the opportunity to present hands-on, fun science activities to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
As in 2012, the 2014 Expo will kick off with a special Sneak Peek Friday on 4/25, inviting students from underserved schools, media, government officials and military families.

The Festival is organized by Science Spark, a 501(c)3 non-profit science outreach organization, and is funded through corporate sponsorships, government grants, and private donations.
Help us inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers by joining our team of volunteers. Volunteer assignments range from distributing promotional materials or presenting Festival opportunities to local school boards to working an info booth or assisting performers at the Expo. It’s fun and rewarding!

Don’t miss the 3rd USA Science & Engineering Festival, the largest STEM education event in the US, featuring over 3,000 fun, interactive exhibits, more than 100 stage shows, and other exciting attractions.
