Look out for yourself and get an HIV test.

Campaign Materials

Take Charge. Take the Test.™ focuses on African American women. Young African American women can take charge of their health by knowing their HIV status — and by taking steps to protect themselves from HIV. This campaign, which was first piloted in Cleveland and Philadelphia, reached thousands of African American women with this important and empowering health message. The campaign is now being implemented in ten cities where black women are heavily impacted by HIV and AIDS: Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Memphis, Newark, New Orleans, St. Louis, and Hyattsville, MD.

The campaign materials are also available online for other local health departments and community organizations to download and use. Current print materials include an informational booklet, postcards, posters, outdoor billboard, transit ads, horizontal display banner, and vertical display banner. Online materials include banner ads and a widget.
