The Reports and Analysis Branch (RAB) located within the Office of Science Policy, Planning, and Communications (OSPPC) at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is looking to recruit a talented, energetic individual who possesses strong portfolio analytical and evaluation skills. The ideal candidate for this position will have a graduate degree, preferably a Ph.D. or equivalent, in Mental Health, Neuroscience, or Social & Behavioral Sciences. RAB is responsible for scientific disease coding, generating science based reports and analyses investigating historical funding trends, and developing novel means of analyzing data. OSPPC plans and directs a comprehensive strategic agenda for national mental health policy and analysis, including science program planning, policy evaluation, portfolio analysis, and scientific disease coding. OSPPC also creates and implements the Institute's communication efforts, including information dissemination, media relations activities, and internal communications. The mission of the NIMH is to transform the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure.
