This collection of lessons and web resources is aimed at classroom teachers, their students, and students' families. Most of these resources come from the National Science Digital Library (NSDL). "Fresh Baked Fraction"—part of the FunBrain.com Web site—lets kids in grades 4–6 test their fraction skills by reading and answering multiple choice fraction questions. Kids who answer 24 problems correctly can put their name on Jackson's "List of Master Pie Bakers."

Math Cats

This Web site is a highly interactive site geared to children ages 12 and under. It includes a math art gallery, Microworlds and Logo programming and math questions on a "magic chalkboard." The site also features a teacher section when clicking on "Site Map and Info" where teachers can get and share ideas for teaching math. Great for kids and teachers for in classroom use.

Ed Zobel, the author of Zona Land, created this Web site to function as a resource for students and teachers, as well as any interested individuals, who want to study physics, the mathematical sciences, or mathematics in general, but are having a difficult time with textbooks or other approaches. The goal of Zona Land is to present the fundamental ideas of these subjects at the introductory and intermediate levels by presenting pictures and explanations through graphics, animations, and text.

The Statistics Online Computational Resource (SOCR) was established in 2001 to design, implement, validate and freely disseminate new methods and approaches for integration of technology in the educational curriculum. The SOCR Resources are developed by joint efforts of faculty, researchers and students from various UCLA departments and centers.
