Mission
The NCIS mission is to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats to the United States Navy and Marine Corps-ashore, afloat, and in cyberspace.
Training Resources 

CounterIntelligence Awareness and Reporting (CIAR) - Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 5240.06 requires all DoD personnel receive annual CIAR training.  The training covers the following: foreign intelligence threat; foreign intelligence methods, including use of the internet and social networking services; insider threats; reportable information - comprising of 53 reportable contacts; activities; indicators; behaviors and reporting procedures.  Command Security Managers should contact their local NCIS field office to obtain the brief.  Visit the NCIS website at www.ncis.navy.mil, under "Who We Are", to obtain the contact information for the NCIS field office in your area. 

INFOSEC

The INFOSEC Website has changed from https://infosec.nmci.navy.mil to https://infosec.navy.mil.  There will be no redirects from NMCI so users must update their bookmarks to ensure capability of receiving INFOSEC content.  Fingerprint results will now be available on the new site.
