The National Parkinson Foundation is pleased to announce that it has awarded seven grants to NPF Chapters through its new Chapter Grant Fund. The grant projects range from training nurses and community health workers about Parkinson's in minority populations to facilitating Parkinson's educational conferences and launching sustainable dance and choir programs.
The National Parkinson Foundation today released early findings from the largest clinical study of Parkinson's disease ever conducted, showing that depression is the most important factor influencing the health status of Parkinson's patients. Read more in USA Today.
