Vendors, contractors, messengers, and delivery persons who have frequent or long-term business on campus can be issued special National Institutes of Health (NIH) photo badges. They must provide a memo from their company (on company letterhead). The memo must be dated and contain the vendor(s) full name, title, birthday, social security number, name of person(s) granting authorization to vendor, and type of business and/or services provided by the vendor.
The aforementioned issued badge is temporary for one year and only allows accessibility to the buildings on the NIH Campus. If you visit any of the NIH satellite and/or leased buildings you will be required to adhere to the security regulations required for that particular site.
The NIH Parking Office is located on the NIH campus in Building 31C, B3 level.
