Protein Technologies, Resources and Services

Listing of protein-related resources

1) Protein Technology Resources Portal

The CCR Protein Technology Advisory Committee has create a page of useful information related to technologies, resources, and specialized expertise available to the CCR community.

2) Yeast 2-Hybrid Data on Cancer and HIV proteins

Through a partnership with Myriad Genetics, the CCR has identified hundreds of novel protein-protein interactions.  The interactions are now available to the CCR community through a new web site called the CCR Database of Antibody and Protein Interactions (C-DAPI).

HyNet Human Protein Interaction Dataset Now Available to CCR Investigators
The Prolexys Human Interactome Database (Prolexys HyNet) is an extensive collection of experimentally determined and verified human protein-protein interactions (PPI’s). It is the largest human PPI database in the world, containing over 120,000 non-redundant human protein interactions covering nearly one half of the human genes in the NCBI RefSeq database.  The OSTP has licensed the HyNet Y2H protein interaction database from Ariadne to make it available to all CCR investigators.  To find out how to access the HyNet data, please visit the Ariadne Pathway Studio page:  Ariadne Pathway Studio

3) Protein-Protein Interaction Screening Services (Through the Advanced Technology Program)

The ATP provides expertise in protein expression, isolation, and characterization of individual proteins or protein complexes.

4) ProteinOne Products and Services

ProteinOne, Inc. located in Bethesda is a leading provider of highly pure and active proteins, offering an extensive catalog of over 200 proteins including transcriptional factors, nuclear receptors, and cancer related proteins. ProteinOne also provides cost-effective custom protein expression and purification services.
