GSALodging®

GSA has partnered with the lodging industry to provide federal travelers with Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) compliant accommodations within per diem allowance for selected high-volume travel destinations, both within and outside the Continental United States.

GSALodging® includes the following offerings:

FedRooms® provides federal travelers on official business with FTR compliant hotel rooms for transient and extended stay (up to 29 days). The program puts government travelers in FEMA and ADA-compliant rooms at or below per diem rates with flexible terms, right where they need to be.

Go to FedRooms® (a nongovernment website) for more information and a current list of hotels. The GSA website also provides a list of preferred hotels [EXCEL, 6MB] on a monthly basis. FedRooms® rates are available through all of the government's preferred booking channels; E2 Solutions, FedTraveler, GovTrip and the Defense Travel System.

FedRooms® now offers a market research tool for those planning a meeting. FedRooms® Groups and Meetings is free and simple to use.  Link to the informational sheet [PDF, 369K] for additional details on this tool.
