Dietary Supplement Label Database

ODS has undertaken a series of initiatives that will lead to the development of a database providing the composition of dietary supplements derived from analytical chemical data. These data can then be integrated with food composition databases to achieve complete daily intake estimates of nutrients and other substances in both foods and dietary supplements. These projects are funded by ODS in collaboration with other organizations within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
