What is new?

The lexical tools (2013) are developed in Java 1.7.0.04 with integration of HyperSonic SQL database (2.2.8) and International Component for Unicode (ICU4J 49.1). New major features are described as follows:

Package

• Distributed both Full version and Lite versions of lvg.2013
• Distributed with JRE, 1.7.0_04
• Distributed with HSqlDb 2.2.8 (HyperSonic SQL DB)
• Distributed with ICU4J 49.1 (International Components for Unicode)

• Integrated with data from The SPECIALIST Lexicon, 2013
• Add title, vendor, build information in manifest.mf

Database

• Lexical tools 2013 release uses HyperSonic SQL database (2.2.8) as default DB (for handling Unicode characters). Please make sure the database server is capable of handling Unicode if you use other DB.

• Updated derivation related features
  • A new systematical approach to update zeroD, suffixD, and prefixD in Facts
  • Update derivation restriction filter (-kd)
