Managing Agency Idaho http://www.accessidaho.org

Program Description

Idaho offers the Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) so your children—infants to teens—may qualify for health insurance at no cost to you. SCHIP provides insurance to working and non-working families. It allows you-parents, grandparents, and guardians-to get the health insurance coverage your children need and deserve.

General Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program a child must be a resident of Idaho, under 19 years of age, not covered by health insurance (including Medicaid), and a U.S. national, citizen, legal alien, or permanent resident.

Depending on your income level, you may have to pay a premium for coverage. Please see this state's website for details.
