Program Description

This grant provides Federal assistance for Indian tribes for the right of tribal self-governance, housing-related services such as housing counseling, self-sufficiency services, energy auditing, and the establishment of resident organizations.

General Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a Federally recognized Indian tribe or a tribally designated housing entity (TDHE) or a state recognized tribe which was funded under the Indian Housing Program authorized by the United States Housing Act of 1937 (USHA).
