Program Description
Florida KidCare offers affordable, low-cost health insurance for the uninsured children of Florida. No interview required, just fill out and mail the easy, one-page application and we will tell you if your child is eligible.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of Florida, under 19 years of age, not covered by health insurance (including Medicaid), a U.S. national, citizen, legal alien, qualified non-citizen or permanent resident.

Your application will be screened for Children's Medicaid. If eligible, you will receive a notice from the Department of Children and Families advising you when Medicaid benefits begin.
