New Administration for Children & Families Website Brings More Info to Grantees and the Public

Screen shot of the new FYSB websiteWe encourage our readers to check out the new Family and Youth Services Bureau website, part of a comprehensive update of the Administration for Children & Families’ online presence.

The new ACF site, including FYSB's portion of it, will be frequently updated with news, grant announcements and grantee success stories. ACF also has introduced The Family Room, a blog by Acting Assistant Secretary George Sheldon, which sheds light on the many ways ACF is working to improve the lives of children, youth and families across the nation.

FYSB’s Web pages will have information tailored to the needs of its grantees and others interested in the Family Violence Prevention and Services, Runaway and Homeless Youth, and Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Programs, such as tutorials on how to fill out federal forms and a map of grantees.

The rollout of the new website began in January and will be complete this fall. Still to come are a searchable online library of ACF resources, ways to get and share information about ACF via social media, and the integration of ACF data with Data.gov, the federal government’s repository of raw research data.
