Biomedical research functions most efficiently when chemistry and biology are intertwining disciplines with common focus and goals. Novel chemistry technologies can add unique dimensions to drug discovery paradigms with the potential for advancing nontraditional clinical tools and cutting-edge reagents for studying cellular processes. NCGC's Chemistry Technology Group in the NCATS Division of Pre-Clinical Innovation aims to solve fundamental problems and insufficiencies in molecular biology and drug discovery through investments in chemistry technology projects ranging from novel library design to inventive bioanalytical techniques.
