Civil Rights Library

The Department of Transportation provides its civil rights law library as a tool to support the civil rights for all employees, applicants for employment, former employees, grant recipients and people who utilize transportation services funded through grants provided by the Department of Transportation (DOT). The library provides access to civil rights laws, executive orders, policies, and other useful links that support DOT's Civil Rights mission and responsibilities.

Laws

The Laws portion of the library provides access to United States Codes, Codes of Federal Regulations, and Public Laws that affect the Department of Transportation and the programs administered by the Departmental Office of Civil Rights.

Executive Orders

The Executive Orders portion of the library gives an overview of the Executive Orders upon which many Department of Transportation and Departmental Office of Civil Rights policies are founded. Information regarding additional Executive Orders not listed within our library can be found at the National Archives and Records Administration.

Policies

The Policies and Information portion of this library provides access to Department of Transportation Policies and several DOCR Brochures. The Information section is a conglomerate of regulations, historical acts, and upcoming bills that are relevant to the Department of Transportation and Departmental Office of Civil Rights.

The Forms portion of this library provides access to forms relating to Employees, External (Non-employee), and Disadvantaged Businesses. These forms can be found in various formats.
