About TTB Online Applications

TTB Online is your portal for accessing our e-Government options, including COLAs Online, Formulas Online, Pay.Gov, and Permits Online. These systems provide you with alternatives to paper applications to complete required tasks and we encourage you to explore our online systems. If you have any questions regarding our online applications, please contact us.

 

Browser Compatibility

We recently made some enhancements that now allow you to utilize your choice of Web browser to access Formulas Online and COLAs Online. These TTB Online applications are now compatible with the following Web browsers:

• Apple Safari (version 5.1 or higher)
• Google Chrome (version 21.0 or higher)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7 or higher)
• Mozilla Firefox (version 15.0 or higher)

In addition, Formulas Online and COLAs Online applications display properly in Internet Explorer version 8 or higher, so there's no longer any need to enable Compatibility View when working in Internet Explorer.

When using other browsers you may notice some pages don't look the same as they do when using Internet Explorer. We will continue to work on these "cosmetic" issues, but our online systems do function properly in all of the previously mentioned compatible Web browsers. We still recommend you use Internet Explorer (version 7 or higher) on a Windows operating system for the best system performance.

Account and Password Management

We'd like to remind you that you may use the available links on the TTB Online portal page to resolve any of the following issues with your Formulas Online or COLAs Online application account and password:

• Password About to Expire or Has Expired? Your password is good for 90 days. If your password is about to expire or has expired, you must change it. If your password is about to expire, you may change it through the Change Password link in the User Profile page. Please see Change Password (Formulas Online) (COLAs Online) for instructions on how to change your password. You will need your user name and existing password to complete the process.

If your password expires before you are able to change it, you'll get an error message when you attempt to login. If your password has already expired, you may reset it through the Expired Password? link in the TTB Online Portal page. Please see Reset Expired Password (Formulas Online) (COLAs Online) for instructions on how to reset your password. You will need your user name, email address, and authentication question answers to complete the process.

• Password Forgotten? If you have forgotten your existing password, you may reset it through the New or Forgotten Password? link in the TTB Online Portal page. Please see Reset Forgotten Password (Formulas Online) (COLAs Online) for instructions on how to reset your online application password. You will need your user name, email address, and authentication question answers to complete the process.
  
  
• Lock Your Account? If you attempt to login multiple times with an invalid user name/password combination, you will lock your account and you will get an error message. You can unlock your user account by setting a new password through the New or Forgotten Password? link in the TTB Online Portal page. Please see Unlock Locked Account (Formulas Online) (COLAs Online) for instructions on how to create a new password to unlock your account. You will need your user name, email address, and authentication question answers to complete the process.
  
  
• Logging in After One Year? After one year of inactivity, your user ID will be deleted and you will need to re-register if you wish to resume using Formulas Online or COLAs Online. You may select the how to register? link in the TTB Online Portal page to view registration FAQs. Alternatively, you may go directly to the registration process through the Register for TTB Online link. Please see Create a New User Registration (Formulas Online) (COLAs Online) for instructions on how to re-register.
