TTB SUSPENDS WHOLESALER'S PERMIT

Washington, D.C. - The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has reached an agreement with the W.O.W. Distributing Company of Sussex, Wisconsin calling for a seven day non-consecutive suspension of W.O.W. Distributing Company's Wholesaler's Basic Permit. The suspension was a result of the company's violation of provisions of the Federal Alcohol Administration Act (FAA Act).

W.O.W. Distributing was found to have violated the FAA Act by entering into an agreement, understanding, and/or contract which prohibited the Raceway at Powercom Park from purchasing products from or promotionally associating with any wholesalers other than W.O.W. The company was also found to have improperly agreed to sponsor and promote the Washington County (Wisconsin) Fair Park.

Under the terms of the agreement, W.O.W. agrees not to engage in any business operations authorized by the conditions of its basic permit for the duration of the suspension. The suspension of W.O.W.'s basic permit began October 15, 2004, and the final day of the suspension will be November 15, 2004.
