CORRECTING RS DISPLAY

ATRRS is not the official system of record for personnel information. Incorrect personnel information will not affect an individual's eligibility for training. Each ATRRS record reflects personnel information current at the time the reservation is made in ATRRS. However, if an SSN is incorrect in ATRRS, we are happy to assist you in correcting the SSN.

Send an email to: ahelp@asmr.com, and be sure to include the soldier's name, the incorrect SSN, and the individual's AKO ID. If two individuals' records have been merged, an outline of which training belongs to each AKO ID is also required. DO NOT SEND VALID SSN's TO THE HELP DESK VIA EMAIL.

ATRRS REPORTS GENERATOR ACCESS

To receive a step by step instruction document on how to generate and download reports using the QWS3270 Secure Software, contact the ATRRS Help Desk via email at: ahelp@asmr.com, or by phone at: (703) 695-2353 / 2060.

PERMISSION PROBLEM

Your ability to access and change data in ATRRS is dependent on your Access Code, which is set by an Access Code Manager. This person is usually located in your unit. If you do not know who this individual is, contact the ATRRS Help Desk at: ahelp@asmr.com, or: 703-695-2353/2060, to determine the appropriate point of contact.

ATRRS COURSE LOCATION

ATRRS does not administer courses. If you have questions about how to access your courseware, speak with the school that is administering the course. Use the Course Catalog to find the school’s point of contact.

DMOSQ ERROR

The DTY-POSN-QUAL (Duty Position Qualifier) is in TAPDB-G (which is fed by SIDPERS) to ensure that the individual is slotted appropriately. We receive a weekly update from TAPDB-G (normally on Fridays) with this data. The student also must not be within one year of ETS (End of Time in Service) or TRY1 Enlistment. If the Soldier is not Duty MOS Qualified (DMOSQ), they can only attend DMOSQ types of courses that are related to becoming DMOSQ. ATRRS Select Codes are used to determine DMOSQ training courses. The select codes are E4, E6, EC, RG, EJ, E5, EK, DL, EM, and OB. The A1 and A2 Functions verify enlisted pay grade before checking for the DMOSQ logic. The RL and RP Functions use the logic if the first character of the pay grade is an E and the Reservation Status is not a cancel. IET quota sources NJ, NK, NL, NM, NN, and NP are exempt. Exceptions to this policy can only be made by contacting one of the following individuals:

Primary: Mike Booher (RDA1B): michael.booher@us.army.mil
Secondary: Harry Gilman (SPT19): harry.gilman@us.army.mil
Secondary: Mike Prusinowski (RAW3T) : michael.prusinowski@us.army.mil
Secondary: Jim Morehouse (SPJ5I): jim.morehouse@us.army.mil

These individuals in turn coordinate with the ATRRS Help Desk to have the flag removed.

SSD SELF-ENROLLMENT IS NO LONGER AUTHORIZED

Per SMA directive on 18 Dec 12, Soldier self-enrollment in SSD courses is no longer authorized. All new enrollments in SSD will follow the auto-enrollment triggers and the NCOES pre-requisite sequencing shown in the table below.

SSD Level / NCOES Course ATRRS Auto-Enrollment Trigger Completion is Pre-Requisite for:
SSD-1 Successful completion of OSUT or AIT - Registration and attendance at WLC
WLC N/A – unit schedules - ALC registration and attendance
ALC N/A – HRC schedules - SSD-3 registration
SSD-3 ALC Graduation - SLC Attendance
SLC N/A – HRC schedules - SSD-4 registration
SSD-4 SLC Graduation - SMC selection
SMC N/A – HRC schedules - SSD-5 registration
SSD-5 SMC Graduation

Soldiers currently enrolled in or who have already completed SSD classes above and beyond what they are eligible to take per above guidance will not be disenrolled… they will be allowed to complete this training. However, HQDA policy guidance will be forthcoming that will establish rules governing whether this accelerated completion will continue to result in promotion points being awarded and how long accelerated completion of SSD courses will be acceptable to meet NCOES selection and attendance pre-requisites. Soldiers should understand clearly that accelerated completion of SSD under these guidelines does not mean they may not have to re-take the training in the future when they are slated to take the training and attend NCOES in due course.
