Note: Obtain a site approved Internet Web browser from your Department Of Information Management (DOIM) or a similar agency serving your site. In order to have full functionality on ATRRS Web sites, we recommend that you have the latest browser versions from Microsoft or Netscape.

Logon to ATRRS Channels with your ATRRS Logon ID and Password to download the QWS3270 Secure Software. If you do not have an Access Code, enter "REVIEW".

1. Question: What is QWS3270 Secure?
   QWS3270 Secure is a 3270 Telnet software program that utilizes SSL encryption. This allows you to access the ATRRS system at NISA-Pentagon through other types of Internet connections. QWS3270 Secure offers many features including customization of terminal colors and keyboard functions, IND$FILE transfer, and many graphical user elements. Users have the option to show buttons on the screen that correspond to PF Keys, Clear key, ATTN key, PA1 key, et al. Users may copy and paste from this application to other Windows applications.



2. Question: What is IND$FILE transfer?
   This is a file transfer protocol developed by IBM. It is used to download a report from the ATRRS Reports Generator. After you download the report to your computer, it may be printed or saved. It is recommended that you use ASM Print to send the report to your PC printer.



3. Question: What is ASM Print?
   Unfortunately Windows printer drivers do not recognize the mainframe formatting characters in ATRRS Enterprise reports. Bundled with your ATRRS Internet Connection Software is a program called ASM Print. It converts the mainframe formatting characters to ensure they print from your PC printer.
