Registration Opens for CBP East Coast Trade Symposium

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection opened registration for the annual East Cost Trade Symposium today. The symposium is scheduled for Oct. 29-30, 2012 at the Renaissance DC Downtown Hotel in Washington, D.C. The theme this year is Expanding 21st Century Global Partnerships. It will feature panel discussions involving agency personnel, members of the trade community and other government agencies on the agency’s role in international trade initiatives and programs. Panels will cover a variety of topics such as global supply chain security, Beyond the Border initiatives, Centers for Excellence and Expertise, the role of the broker, ACE and trusted trader programs.
