CSSI provides support for innovative programs that include nanotechnology, clinical proteomics, cancer genomics, physical sciences, and biorepositories and biospecimens cancer research. - Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities
CRCHD supports the reduction of cancer health disparities in diverse populations through research, training, and partnerships. - Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials
CCCT guides efforts to transform NCI's clinical trials and translational research enterprises to improve their efficiency and outcome. - Center for Global Health
CGH facilitates global collaboration by leveraging research resources with U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, non-government organizations, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. - Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research
FNL develops technologies and performs basic and developmental research to support the NCI mission in collaboration with both NCI intramural and extramural and other NIH investigators. - Office of Acquisitions
OA negotiates, awards, and administers contracts and simplified acquisitions. - Office of Advocacy Relations
OAR engages the advocacy and NCI communities in dialogue about cancer research opportunities and priorities. - Office of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research
OBBR supports the development of biospecimen-related standards and practices to improve the quality and consistency of human biospecimens available for cancer and biomedical research. - Office of Budget and Finance
OBF advises the Office of the Director and other senior staff on the management of financial and personnel resources and coordinates NCI financial activities. - Office of Cancer Nanotechnology Research
OCNR directs the NCI Alliance for Nanotechnology in Cancer program that develops nanotechnology-based tools for cancer research, prevention, detection, treatment, and monitoring. - Office of Cancer Centers
OCC supports major academic and research institutions throughout the United States to sustain broad-based, coordinated, interdisciplinary programs in cancer research. - Office of Cancer Genomics
OCG supports genomics research programs that enhance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of cancer. - Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research
OCCPR facilitates the understanding of cancer biology and protein science derived from alterations in cancer genomes, through the application of robust proteomic technologies and workflows. - Office of Communications and Education
OCE disseminates evidence-based cancer information and research results to scientists, health professionals, and the general public through both traditional and new media. - Office of HIV and AIDS Malignancy
OHAM supports research in HIV/AIDS-related cancer, and coordinates research in HIV/AIDS and HIV/AIDS-related cancer throughout NCI. - Office of Government and Congressional Relations
OGCR facilitates the relationships between NCI, Congress, and the general public, provides Freedom of Information and Privacy Act services, and supports General Accountability Office investigations. - Office of Grants Administration
OGA manages all NCI business-related activities associated with the negotiation, award, and administration of grants and cooperative agreements. - Office of Physical Sciences - Oncology
OPSO supports the establishment of scientific teams and individual scientists from the fields of physics, mathematics, chemistry, and engineering to develop novel approaches for cancer research. - Office of Public Affairs and Research Communication
OPARC consists of a news office that provides journalists with access to NCI researchers and information about the latest advances in cancer research supported by NIH and a public affairs office that helps connect leaders in the biomedical research community with policy decision leaders. - Office of Science Planning and Assessment
OSPA supports the NCI mission by promoting and leading the Institute's science planning, coordination, and assessment efforts. - Technology Transfer Center
TTC establishes formal collaborative agreements with industry and academia to facilitate exchange and development of research materials, data, and technology in support of NCI's mission.

Intramural
- Center for Cancer Research
CCR, the basic and clinical intramural research program of NCI, conducts research with the goal of improving the lives of people affected by cancer and HIV/AIDS. - Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics
DCEG conducts population and multidisciplinary research to discover the genetic and environmental determinants of cancer and the means of prevention.
Extramural
- Division of Cancer Biology
DCB supports and facilitates basic research in all areas of cancer biology at academic institutions and research foundations across the United States and abroad. - Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences
DCCPS supports a comprehensive program of genetic, epidemiologic, behavioral, social, and surveillance cancer research. - Division of Cancer Prevention
DCP supports research to determine and reduce a person's risk of developing cancer, as well as research to develop and evaluate cancer screening procedures. - Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis
DCTD supports the translation of promising research areas into improved diagnostic and therapeutic treatments for cancer patients. - Division of Extramural Activities
DEA coordinates the scientific review of extramural research before funding, and provides systematic surveillance of that research after awards are made.
