Program Description
Doctoral Dissertation Research Grants help Doctoral candidates who
have been accepted to an accredited institution complete research and
dissertations on housing or urban development issues. Recipients may receive
reimbursement for costs including stipends, computer software, the purchase
of data, travel expenses to collect data, transcription services, and
compensation for interviews.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a U.S.
citizen or lawful permanent resident (recipient of an Alien Registration
Recipient Card, commonly referred to as a Green Card), pursuing a doctoral
degree in the field of housing and urban development who has completed all
required coursework except your final dissertation.
