FSOC (Financial Stability Oversight Council)

The FSOC provides, for the first time, comprehensive monitoring to ensure the stability of our nation's financial system. The Council brings together the expertise of federal financial regulators, state regulators, and an insurance expert appointed by the President. Click here to learn more.

Plain Writing Act

The Plain Writing Act of 2010 is intended to improve the effectiveness and accountability of Federal Agencies to the public. It specifically promotes clearly written Government communications that the public can easily understand and use. Please click here for additional information and details.

Supervisory Review Committee

NCUA's policy is to maintain good communication with all the credit unions it supervises. Credit unions, examiners, and regional and central office staff are encouraged to resolve disagreements informally and expeditiously. NCUA expects that most disputes can and will be handled in this manner. The Supervisory Review Committee and other appeals processes are available for certain disputes that cannot be resolved this way. Click here to learn more about the Supervisory Review Committee.
