Mr. Daniel Cox graduated in 2009 from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in biological engineering and a minor in mathematics. Mr. Cox joined the post baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) program in Dr. Richard Leapman’s laboratory at NIBIB in the summer of 2010. He is working with Dr. Alioscka Sousa on electron tomography and image processing of cellular and parasitic interactions at the nanoscale level. Mr. Cox plans to further his education with a Ph.D. in the biomedical research field.
