The Aerial Photo Ordering System
The Remote Sensing Division has been acquiring aerial photography to support the regular updating and delineation of the nation’s shoreline for defining territorial limits, assisting in safe navigation, and managing coastal resources, as well as collecting data to support the National Airspace System. In an effort to make the remotely sensed data available, this site (Data Discovery and Ordering) has been created to allow for discovery of these data.
PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
NGS/RSD is currently transitioning the discovery of our remotely sensed inventory, to this system in phases. Currently, the inventory available through this system dates from 1996 to present. We are in the process of making our inventory available for dates prior to 1996, as the data is quality controlled. All imagery prior to 1996, please request by contacting NGS/RSD.
