Veteran Homelessness Reduced By Nearly 12 Percent

On December 13th, 2011, HUD released the 2011 Point In Time (PIT) Count report – revealing a reduction of 8,834 homeless veterans from 2010 to 2011.  This report is based on a count of both sheltered and unsheltered homeless veterans in January, 2011.  Click here to view the report.

P8 Enrollment Changes: Are You Eligible?

Priority 8 Calculator ImageVA eligibility rules changed Monday, June 15, 2009, making it easier for more Veterans to enroll in VA’s health care system. A web-based calculator is available for Veterans to enter their income information, dependents, and zip code to assess if their income would fall within the income threshold adjustments. Try the calculator or call the VA’s Health Resource Center at 1-877-222-VETS (8387).
