NIH Supply Center at Gaithersburg, MD formerly known as Gaither Distribution Center and renamed to the NIH Supply Center is a 150,000 square foot storage facility that includes chemical, hazardous and temperature-controlled storage space. The Supply Center stocks items not carried in the stores and replenishes the Self Service Stores on a daily basis in support of the NIH community.

Self-Service Stores

The self-service stores are conveniently located on-campus. At the stores, employees may purchase office and laboratory supplies for official use. We offer NIH employees walk-in shopping service for emergency or small quantity orders of stock items. The foremost objective of these stores is to provide quality stock in a fast, efficient and economical manner.
