NIHnet Internet Service provides internet access to all NIH customers and select Federal agencies. NIHnet is the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the NIH.

Q: I am living at a house on the main NIH campus in Bethesda and I want to use the Internet. Do I need to connect to a Remote Access client in order to access internal NIH resources?
A: Some NIH Campus housing facilities may be on a different network, one outside of the typical NIH Network. To determine the status of your ability to connect to the NIHnet, contact the NIH IT Service Desk http://itservicedesk.nih.gov, or your local IC support staff.
