Gerald Parish, Superintendent

The Michigan Agency of the Bureau of Indian Affairs is located in the city of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The Agency Office is headed by the Superintendent who reports to the Midwest Regional Director. The Superintendent is the leader of the work groups that provide advice on administrative and program matters. The work groups also advise and assist the federally recognized Michigan tribes. The Michigan Agency serves tribal governments, tribal organizations and reservations located within the states of Michigan and Indiana.
