This section includes materials from the Promoting Efficiency and Effectiveness in Information Technology Practices MAC Collaborative, which is working with CMS and state partners to identify ways to design and efficiently develop information technology infrastructure that supports high-performing Medicaid programs. It is helping states to address the aggressive timeframes associated with: (1) developing, implementing, and operating health benefit exchanges; and (2) establishing coverage expansions and improvements under Medicaid and CHIP programs.
