Give It Your Best

Dimensions: 28" (w) x 20" (h)

This poster, created by Charles Coiner during World War II, was printed from 1941-1945. The interpretation of the poster's meaning is left up to the reader with Coiner's use of the word "it". However, it could be logical to associate "it" with the large American flag that occupies the majority of the poster.

The photomechanical print held by the National Archives and Records Administration can be found in Record Group 44: Records of the Office of Government Reports, 1932-1947, Still Picture Records Section, Special Media Archives Services Division at Archives II in College Park, Maryland.
