Entrance on Duty

January 10, 2007 - Under the leadership of the Entrance on Duty Executive Steering Committee (EOD ESC), OPM completes the first ever CONOPS for the EOD process. The Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) Entrance on Duty Concept of Operations Report (EOD CONOPS) provides results of a cross-agency collaboration which describes the need to leverage technology to bring efficiencies to the EOD process; the implementation of such a capability will result in a return on investment that reflects both human capital and financial benefits. The CONOPS describes the functional requirements for EOD, proposes a process and technology concepts model for delivering EOD services, and recommends an overall strategy for agencies to acquire and realize the future solution.

Separation Management

September 30, 2008 - Under the leadership of the Separation Management Workgroup, OPM completes the first ever CONOPS for the Separation Management process. The Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) Separation Management Concept of Operations Report (CONOPS) describes and summarizes Separation Management-related services in terms of FEA guidance and provides agencies and shared service centers with background information they can use to streamline and modernize their separation management-related services. This CONOPS describes a business capability that will leverage technology to bring efficiencies to this process; the implementation of such a capability will result in a return on investment that reflects both human capital and financial benefits.
