Collaborative Leadership Project

Funded in FY 2001(Phase I) and expanded in FY 2002 (Phase II), the goal of Collaborative Leadership Project was to create models for developing local solutions to community problems that have implications for police integrity. These collaborative partnerships combined national expertise with local stakeholders and focused on problem solving. The local partners consisted of a law enforcement agency and a community organization, where there is a historically challenging relationship. These projects resulted in model partnerships and best practices focused on important integrity issues that can be replicated across the country.
