On July 9, 2008 the FDIC will host its fifth meeting of the Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion (ComE-IN). The Advisory Committee was formed to provide advice and recommendations on initiatives to expand access to banking services by underserved populations. This meeting will focus on strategies for encouraging mortgage lending for low- and moderate-income households. This meeting will build on issues discussed at the July 8th forum on mortgage lending for low and moderate income households.
