The Launch of BeTobaccoFree.gov

Woman sitting in front of computerIn celebration of the Great American Smokeout, the Department of Health and Human Services launched a brand new website showcasing their commitment to ending the tobacco epidemic. This new comprehensive tobacco website, BeTobaccoFree.gov, provides a “one-stop-shop” for Americans with information on avoiding or ending tobacco use.

Each year in the United States, the adverse health effects from tobacco use cause more than 440,000 deaths. BeTobaccoFree.gov was created to help achieve the vision of a society free from tobacco-related death and disease.

So what exactly will you find on this new website?
