2010 Food Safety Epidemiology Capacity Assessment

Foodborne pathogens cause a substantial burden of disease in the United States. The objective of the 2010 food safety epidemiology capacity assessment was to evaluate the capacity to detect, investigate, and respond to foodborne disease as an update from the 2002 CSTE report. This report includes results and recommendations from the 2010 assessment.

The Status of State-level Radiation Emergency Preparedness and Response Capabilities

In August 2010, CSTE Environmental Epidemiology Subcommittee conducted an assessment of radiation planning and preparedness in state public health departments.
