Chief Information Officer

As a model information and technology center we are recognized for strategic thinking, proactive leadership, collaborative partnerships and innovative solutions advancing OPM's mission to recruit, retain and honor a world class workforce to serve the American people.

We are committed to delivering innovative, cost-effective, and secure information management solutions that support OPM's programs and initiatives.

We provide services to all OPM offices. We also provide information and services to the public and other agencies. For example:

• Through Enterprise Human Resources Integration, we maintain the integrity of the electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF), which protects information rights, benefits, and entitlements of federal employees.
• With FedScope, we provide statistical information about the federal civilian workforce. You can also download our raw datasets.
• We are responsible for OPM’s forms program.
• We manage the interagency Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) initiative. HR LOB aims to reduce unnecessary duplication and redundancy in HR systems and processes across the federal government.
• In the area of Information Management, we manage OPM’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Records Management programs. We also set OPM’s Privacy Policy.
• We manage OPM’s website.
