How to Search

The Institution Search Screen has two general options:

  1. The left side of the screen will prompt you for a combination of certain search criteria such as name, geographic location, and entity type information.

  2. The right side of the screen requires an institution's unique identifier to perform the search.

The two search options are mutually exclusive. The unique identifier takes precedence over any information entered on the left. In other words, if an institution's name or partial name is entered and a unique identifier is also entered, the search will be performed based on the unique identifier only, the name information will be ignored.
