The NIH is home to a large neuroscience research community, including investigators based in NINDS, NIMH, NICHD, NIDCD, NEI, NIEHS, NIDCR, NIA, NIAAA, NIDA, NHGRI and NCI. The goal of the Neurobiology Interest Group is to promote interaction between Institutes and laboratories pursuing diverse approaches to the study of the nervous system. Areas of research interests include structural, molecular, cellular, developmental and systems neuroscience. The interest group meets most Fridays at 4:00 p.m. Please see the Meetings and Seminars page (tab at left) for the meeting location.

Presentations are typically by postdoctoral fellows and are followed by a social hour with refreshments provided by the hosting laboratory. The group moderators are Jeff Diamond and Dax Hoffman.
