Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I download raw Mascot search output?
A: NIH Mascot users who want to download their raw Mascot search output on a regular basis will need a Helix Systems account. Once you have a Helix account, please contact staff@helix.nih.gov and request this service.

Q: How many simultaneous Mascot jobs can I submit at one time?
A: Users should not submit more than one job at a time. If the Mascot server is overloaded, it will take much longer than normal to process all the jobs.
